The HCRMA, in partnership with the TxDOT Pharr District will construct a 13.15-mile roadway that will improve regional mobility by providing a direct connection for people and goods traveling from international ports of entry north to I-2 between US 281 and FM 493. The project will pass through the cities of Pharr, Alamo, and Donna, requiring the use of existing right-of-way as well as additional land and easements.
