US 281/BSIF Connector
(365 Tollway Segment 3)
The Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority completed the US 281/BSIF Connector, a 0.70-mile project that provides a direct and efficient connection between the Border Safety Infrastructure Facility (BSIF) at the Pharr International Bridge and the proposed 365 Tollway. The project also includes a four-lane grade separated interchange along US 281, allowing uninterrupted travel and reducing congestion for both commercial and local traffic. By streamlining freight movement, improving safety, and enhancing mobility, the connector serves as a vital link in Hidalgo County’s transportation network, supporting international trade and regional economic growth.
