About Us

Board of Directors

The Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority is an independent governmental agency created by the Texas Transportation Commission and the Hidalgo County Commissioners Court on November 17th, 2005, to accelerate needed transportation projects in Hidalgo County. The HCRMA is governed by a six member Board of Directors, serving two-year staggered terms with five members appointed by Commissioners Court of Hidalgo County, one member from the City of McAllen, and the presiding officer appointed by the Governor of Texas.
