El proyecto construir\u00e1 una instalaci\u00f3n de peaje de acceso controlado de 19,6 km que proporcionar\u00e1 una ruta alternativa de este a oeste paralela a la IH-2, incluyendo 13 intercambios, la reubicaci\u00f3n de un puente de encauzamiento y carreteras de acceso en ubicaciones selectas, con el objetivo de reducir la congesti\u00f3n y mejorar el movimiento de mercanc\u00edas.
